Starving population

Do people starve because you haven't brought enough food from other countries or what? Do i have to go through myself and buy EVERYTHING my population is short of?

Well yeah kinda , but you can always try investing in agriculture that will help only it will take longer time to affect.... but yeah you need to buy food for your people
are you exporting any tipe of food?

exporting a lot of beef. I much have to import the rest i.e fish, sheep, fowl ect. Can they just live off one type of food or i need all foods to meet demand of the people?

I'm Australia Any tips on how to run it would be good after 6 months i just die. I can be -.14 gdp and one guys says get budget under control next day im 62% to 5%

Well i would try making as much contrackts as i can( offcors not food) after you got some income .. look for the cheepest food you can buy... and than start subsidie the agriculture.. it will make you new working places and slowly start to produce more food

Basicly you cant start new industry.. you can only use what you have...

But do you meen like tanks and stuff?

Yes tanks, planes ect. Whatever i can build, I heard you can start them from scratch. Don't know if it's true or not. Australia produces no military stuff.

hard to say... i think no becouse you cant create new industrys atlist thats what they say... but you can try..
Go to Industry and select tanks and armored vehicles and try subsiding tham... if its red you dont have it... as i heard that if you subside it it should be active after a year or so.. but im not really sure.. one says this others says that liek always

Well dont know exactly but it woes close to 2020...
Basicly what i did i slowly started to change nation rules that i am appointed for life so there wer no elections.. and i did manage my popularity 100% but than i had to move in real life to a diferent country now im in Norway so i hade to dowload the game again

What do you do to control inflation? When i sign all these deals my growth booms. Growth goes from like 2.4 to 4.8 and inflation goes to 3-4%.

If honest.. i never whatc my inflation... sometimes when i check it its around 0 or around 2.. basicly i dont even know what am i doing.. but mostly what i do is this..
Subsidy the industries, raise minimum salary, try to sell maximum stuff and grow up the healt,education and stuff like that.. at first it may be high but after it starts to drop down...

And you can raise key interest but ir might grow up your unenployment

First of how do you build your popularity? I don't know about famine it just randomly appeared unless i got a bug. which would be my luck.

Also what industries do you subsidizes and how much do you give them?

Well first what i did.
I added fue more taxes like tobbaco,gambling,gun,pornograpfy and deforesting... non of them are larger than 10% so it gives more income
than made fue contracts with usa so budget deficite goes up..
after hired more people in health and police and sponsored culture a bit more and lovered the key interest by 1% and raised the minimum salary

lucky im allies with some good militaries . Only France, U.S, Canada and U.K will ally with me. How do you win them over? I trade with em but it doesn't help.

i have never done this buti read that alot of people infitrat terorist groups and i gues destroy them or what and that helps for the popularity a lot...
